Thank you for checking out my Music Therapy page! I love sharing music with others and watching children learn and grow through Music Therapy!

Music Therapy uses specifically designed music experiences to accomplish non musical goals in the areas of: Cognition, Communication, Social/Emotional skills, and Motor skills. In my constant effort to learn and improve my understanding, I am in the process of attaining my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

I offer over 20 years of diverse Music Therapy experience. I specialize in working with Children and Young Adults who have disabilities in the areas of learning, social, communication or physical limitations. Some of the specific disability areas that I work with are: Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and other physical disabilities. One of my passions is looking at the whole child and determining how to balance their sensory motor needs, so that they can be most successful within music therapy environment.
